Case Study

Currently studying A Level English Literature, Maths, Religious Studies and Psychology.

Previous school: Hebburn Comprehensive.

Lucy was ready for more independence after school and chose Newcastle Sixth Form College as she felt that it offered the chance to study A Levels within a more adult environment.

Travelling from Hebburn every day couldn't be easier for Lucy - she hops on the Metro (the journey from Hebburn to Central Station takes only 13 minutes!) then it's just a short walk to Newcastle Sixth Form College.

NSFC acts as a stepping stone between school and university, giving me the chance to practice independent work and research, but still within a supportive and caring environment.

I definitely feel more prepared for university having had this experience whilst studying A Levels.
